The archive of the Ussuriysk city district creates digital copies of documents

MKU "Archive of the Ussuriysk City District" is the largest municipal archive in Primorsky Krai by the number of units of document storage. As of January, 2014 there are 97,259 units of storage here. Recently in organization the planetary scanner of ELAR Planskan of A2B using which the archive independently creates digital copies of documents is installed, solving a problem of safety of funds.

According to the director of archive Natalya Likhodedova, in connection with the growing volume of addresses of users first of all to historical documents, the Archive of the Ussuriysk city district on the new equipment carried out digitization of documents from the local military registration and enlistment offices containing information on soldiers and officers of the Great Patriotic War. In Primorsky Krai works on formation databases for the electronic regional portal about participants of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 Book of the Memory are maintained now.

The Planskan scanner of A2B is the universal device for scanning of the shabby and non-standard sewed materials, books, magazines and directories, newspapers, different fastened documents, including with the dense back which is not allowing to open the document more than by 120 degrees.
