On Seversky Pipe Plant video surveillance systems on the basis of the equipment TFortis are upgraded

December 24, 2014. Fort Telecom announced project completion of creation of a system of IP video surveillance in the territory of the metallurgical enterprise JSC Seversky Pipe Plant in Sverdlovsk region.

Video surveillance system were implemented on objects of the enterprise for several years. Need of expansion and the subsequent operation became a push to its upgrade of a system. Therefore creation of the uniform video surveillance system which is easily scaled further which had to provide the required security level at the enterprise was a project objective.

Having convinced of need of upgrade of the existing video surveillance system, the guide of the customer addressed company services of Objedinennye inzhenernye resheniya LLC.

At the first stage the equipment for IP video surveillance equipped 4 objects of the plant. On the main inputs and exits and also in internal shop premises 12 TFortis PSW-1-45 and PSW-2G-UPS switches to which 30 IP cameras were connected were installed. For protection of cameras against adverse effects of the environment thermocasings of TFortis TH-02 were used.

Possibility of the TFortis switches to automatically reboot cameras in case of their hangup and a power supply of the camera and thermocasing on one cable solved one more problem which faced integrators - minimization of cost of installation and further system maintenance.

Existence of uninterruptible power supply unit, broad range of working temperatures and the built-in lighting protection played a crucial role at equipment selection of TFortis for the project", - the director of Objedinennye inzhenernye resheniya LLC Tararukhin Alexey Vladimirovich told.
