TV-Tem (DMReports)

TV-Tem integrates the system of a business intelligence DMReports for simplification of process of work with data.

DMWorks Systems completed DMReports integration process – platforms for the reporting and a business intelligence in network of local television channels TV-Tem.

The network of TV-Tem channels was faced by a task of the effective organization IT of infrastructure and data warehouses and also high-quality and fast processing of constantly arriving data. Therefore process of integration of DMReports included not only system deployment on client side, but also creation of complex infrastructure of storage and work with data. In network of TV channels there was no system approach to data structure and often data were stored in local separate files, in several poorly structured databases in the MS Access format.

In spite of the fact that DMReports can work with several data sources, without IT of experience it was complex to users to understand what of bases and/or the file to be stored information necessary to them. Therefore the decision to create and use a single system of data storage on the basis of MS SQL was made. For this purpose the DMWorks Systems company developed a number of service applications which imported data to base from programs with which the staff of the company got used to work.

Creation of infrastructure of work with data allowed to integrate the DMReports platform into the shortest possible time and to allow management of network of TV channels to get a top access to structured data and to effectively analyze them using rich functionality of DMReports.
