January 9, 2015. The purpose [1] was creation of the environment of virtual machines, for consolidation of the main applications of the Sochi meat-processing plant on one physical server, and implementing solution for fast backup on hard drives.
As a hardware platform for project implementation was the multiprocessor IBM x3850M2 server, with a system is selected data storage of DS3200. The program realization was enabled by means of Microsoft Hyper-V technology. For providing fast backup, the solution Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager was applied. As a result of project implementation consolidation of the main applications of the customer based on the multiprocessor server of IBM was performed that together with transition to the 64th bit versions of software allowed to increase considerably performance and reliability and availability of IT of structure of the Sochi meat-processing plant.
