January 12, 2015. The GLOBUS-TELECOM company announced[1] providing[1] of quality control of data transmission for communication channels, integrating technology platforms of the Center of social support of the population of the Kaliningrad region in 22 cities and two settlements.

Within the contract the company delivered to the state customer the automated complex of control and visualization of a status of communication channels and brought it into operation. A project objective – to increase efficiency of detection of critical events in an information system of the client, to provide continuous quality control of data transmission on communication channels which integrate 47 technology platforms of the Center in 22 cities and two settlements of the Kaliningrad region.

The software product provides visualization of statistics of volumes of the traffic transferred on communication channels of the customer in a graphic and text type. With its help it is possible to control operability of communication channels and also to timely fix the critical system events affecting availability and communication quality, to see retrospective graphic data by quantity of the sent, received and lost packets.

The user can obtain the complete information about a status of communication channels using different virtual windows: "Interactive scheme", Events, "Map of the region". For example, in the Map of the Region window the administrative map of the Kaliningrad region with indication of localities in which it is located endpoints of communication channels of the customer is displayed. During the normal operation of the relevant channel the point lights up in green color. If failures are observed, then the point is displayed in yellow color and increases in the amount of. In case of unavailability of the channel the red icon of the bigger size flashes.

The automated SKIT complex is created by IT specialists of GLOBUS-TELECOM company based on modern program and the hardware guaranteeing reliable information storage and operational recovery in case of failures. Its main modules have a possibility of expansion using failsafe solutions.
