Vivotek implemented a video surveillance system in the Cultural center Lublin

January 13, 2015. The VIVOTEK company announced implementation^[1] of a video surveillance system with a wide covering for the Cultural Center to Lublin.

In total in the Cultural Center 34 cameras VIVOTEK were mounted. A wide covering and a low profile of the last cameras VIVOTEK allowed distributor, SUMA company, to provide to the Cultural Center of the city of Lublin the finished video surveillance system, without breaking design of premises and a stylish facade of the historical building. Applying the last technologies from VIVOTEK, rather small cultural center from Poland outstripped, in this plan, many large museums and galleries of the world.

For internal premises, such as galleries, cafe and library 26 fixed VIVOTEK FD8163 dome cameras, thanks to their stylish design and a low profile were selected. FD8163 model supports the image in permission of Full HD, it is equipped with the system of intellectual focusing Smart-Focus, intellectual IK of illumination Smart-IR and the PIR sensor. The camera provides exclusively high quality of video with bitrate to 30 frames per second, and as premises require the different modes for day and night, the camera FD8163 is equipped with mechanical IK the filter and IK illumination with efficiency to 15 meters that gives the chance to receive accurate video 24 hours a day. Besides, in galleries which can sometimes be empty PIR sensors allow the camera to find out when somebody comes into the premises.

For outside observation in the Lublin Cultural Center 8 IP8362 cylindrical chambers of the Supreme series which were installed on a facade of the historical building were used. The cameras IP8362 also support resolution of Full HD, in a combination with technology of high dynamic range of WDR it gives the chance to the operator to distinguish fine details both in the conditions of very bright lighting, and at a lack of light. For expansion of capability of the camera to function in any conditions of illumination, IP8362 is completed with movable IK the filter and the built-in IK illumination for work day and night. This camera is executed in the body, strong and dust and water tight on IP67 standard, guaranteeing its steady work in any weather conditions including cold winter, characteristic of Lublin, and reliably protecting from vandalism and attempts of inactivation.

The latest that the curator of a video surveillance system can wish, is need of permanent service of cameras. In the ideal world the cameras are mounted simply and quickly, and then are controlled remotely. The ideal world it just what creates VIVOTEK. FD8163 model is equipped with the system of intellectual focusing Smart Focus System, including the Easy Focus Button button (easy focusing) and Remote Focus (remote focusing). In the camera the lens with the built-in stepping electric motor allowing remote control in focal distance and coincidence tuning of focus that simplifies installation and service is applied. Moreover, the unique algorithm of installation in four steps even more simplifies installation of FD8163. Thus, in implementation process of the project there was no need to configure individually each camera, and to interfere with daily work of the Center. In general, it is possible to conclude that the Cultural Center of the city of Lublin not only creates rich cultural space for inhabitants, but also can be an example of other museums and galleries in all countries on equipment of the latest executed state-of-the-art and a stylish video surveillance system.
