The international investment bank implemented EOS for Share Point

January 16, 2015. The International Investment Bank (IIB) reported^[1] about end of the first stage of the project on workflow automation based on the solution EOS for SharePoint.

Goals and Objectives

The project started in March, 2014, and the need for increase in effective management of a set of the internal documents plying between different departments IIB became the main reason of its initiation. Actually the bank had no common information space that complicated search of necessary documents, control of their passing and interaction of structures of bank in general. All these tasks had to be solved with transition to the new workflow system as which the solution EOS for SharePoint was selected.

Choosing a Solution

It was decided to implement the project in two stages as the corresponding separation of works considerably simplifies control of the course of implementation and acceptance of already executed parts of the project.

Project Progress

During the first stage the technical specifications on the project were made and approved and licenses of the guaranteed service Participant and Reader and also the licenses MS SharePoint are used for functioning of a system. Besides, questioning of employees IIB for the purpose of studying of specifics of conducting document flow of the organization was carried out and information processed by bank is analyzed. Based on this work in the workflow system about 40 document groups, nine automatic routes of approval of documents, nine templates of draft documents, three printed forms and also forms of the notification and the notification were included and configured.

As a result during the first stage in most departments and structures IIB the following document groups were automated: the entering and outgoing letters, regulating and organizational and administrative documents, powers of attorney, agreements. Thanks to it today in the workflow system administrative providing bank, the staff of departments of documentary providing, personnel management, marketing, advertizing and client work and also loan department works (the truth, in the mode of trial operation so far).
