Kartontara

Kartontara Ltd (Maykop, the Republic of Adygea) is the company on production of a corrugated cardboard, gofroyashchik, products of difficult carving and other products. The feature of production is that many works should be performed in the conditions far from ideal.

History

Kartontara private company (the former pulp and board mill) it is constructed on the instructions of the Krasnodar Economic council on the basis of the Resolution of Council of Ministers of the USSR No. 115 of January 28, 1958. The enterprise was created for processing of the semi-finished product which is in passing arising at the plant on development of tannic extracts. The appropriate technology which allowed to locate the enterprise within the city and not causing to the environment irreparable damage was for this purpose developed. The first project of construction of the plant was created in 1939 by the Ukrainian branch Giprobuma which conducted research works and experiments on use of an odubina for receiving tare cardboard. Design of plant was conducted by Mosgiprobum. Estimated cost of all complex was more than 163 million rubles.

• On July 17, 1964 the state commission signed the act of commissioning of workshop of a gofrotara.
• On September 28, 1964 heart of plant – combined heat and power plant recovered. The first electric power joined about the system of Krasnodarenergo.
• On December 24, 1964 the first samples of cardboard were received, and three days a spustiya already whole tymbur products it was removed from the cardboard machine.
• On May 8, 1965 the plant was completely put into operation. For the first year of plant operation 25,770 tons of cardboard and 13,100 t were produced. sq.m of a cardboard container.
• The enterprise underwent a number of conversions in search result of new forms of housekeeping. On the basis of order No. 5 of 6/28/1991 and according to the Resolution of Council of Ministers of the USSR of 6/19/1990 No. 590 fixed assets of the enterprise were non-paid transferred to the possession of labor collective.
• During transition of national economy to the market relations the plant of tannic extracts stopped the work. On Kartontara Ltd difficult conditions of providing with raw materials were created. The brought technology spill and wood began not to be enough. Profit earning began to fall because of deterioration in work and increase in prices for raw materials and energy resources. There was a need for the solution of a task of increase in an exit of fiber, on decrease in an expense of the electric power, heat, water and other resources.
• With respect thereto, since September, 1993, instead of semi-cellulose mastering of development of HTMM began that allowed to lift a fiber exit from wood up to 85% instead of 55% by production of semi-cellulose. As joint-stock company the enterprise was registered on June 27, 1991.
