Citizen a CL series — a line of desktop label printers of production of Citizen.
2020: The optimized CL-S521, CL-S531, CL-S621, CL-S631 printers and CL-S700 series
On June 30, 2020 it became known that Citizen Systems optimized printers of 2 type for logistic CL-S521, CL-S531, CL-S621, CL-S631 applications and printers of CL-S700 series.
The amount of memory, the optimized system of sensors is increased, additional emulation are added. In particular, the volume of OZU in new models is 32 MB (8 MB are available to the user), a flash memory of 16 MB (4 MB are available to the user). EPL emulation is added.

CL-E321
On May 14, 2018 Citizen Systems Europe, producer label, portable, check and a photo of printers, announces release of the next printer for printing of labels which integrates in itself(himself) the stylish design performed in white or black colors, functionality and reliability. CL-E321 with technology of transfer or direct thermoprinting shows a high print speed, is very compact and easy-to-work.
Idle time in installation and use, the CL-E321 printer provides uninterrupted execution of operations with a print speed to 200 mm/sec. (8 inches/sec.) and with a resolution of 203 dpi. The printer uses standard full-size ribbona 300 m long, up to 127 mm wide and the inch core. Intellectual construction of holders allows to load easily ribbona at any angle using the arrows showing the direction of winding excepting a possibility of an error. Supplies are easily loaded thanks to the Hi-LiftTM mechanism, the cover of the body opening on 180 °C the help of the ClickCloseTM mechanism.
CL-E321 is easily integrated with other devices thanks to LAN, USB and consecutive to interfaces which are present at a basic equipment and provide full hardware and software compatibility. Control of the printer can be exercised far off using the corresponding software setups of Citizen LinkServerTM. As much as possible to increase flexibility of the printer, Citizen included in a basic equipment the Cross-EmulationTM, Zebra® ZPL, Datamax® and EPL languages; which are selected automatically without participation of the operator.
The printer has completely regulated sensor of fixing of paper which is configured on determination of a gap between labels and a black tag and also upper and lower detachable plates which allow to tear off the label in any direction. For fast removal of the printed labels the automatic knife is also used.
Updating of resolution of the printer to 300 dpi using an alternative printing head and also installation of the internal power supply is optionally possible.

CL-E300
The Citizen Systems Europe company, producer of printers of labels, barcodes, portable, check and a photo of printers, in January, 2018 provided the next generation of label printers with wide feature set and interfaces in an ultracompact form factor. A series of CL-E300 printers has modern cubic design and provides high performance, and the compact sizes of devices allow to place easily them where the working space is limited, and to print labels up to 4 inches wide for such industries as logistics and warehousing, pharmaceutics and retail.
Desktop CL-E300 printers with technology of direct thermoprinting provide printing with a speed of 200 mm per second and are equipped with the power source mentioned by the certificate of Energy Star.
Printers of a series have the built-in Ethernet LAN and the interface with USB and consecutive ports as the standard. The firm ware Citizen LinkServer gives the chance to the user easily to manage work and settings of the printer far off via the web browser.
Users of CL-E300 series will be able to select between permission of printing of 203 or 300 dpi and also to set in addition a knife and the separator of labels that will allow to use printers in applications with a different volume of thermoprinting. Printers are simple and intuitive in operation, have frontal access to all transactions, including replacement of supplies and setup of sensors that guarantees their fast accomplishment.

On January 20, 2015 the Citizen company announced entry into the market of the printer for printing of labels.
The easy-to-work, desktop CL-E720 printer is focused on use in the specific conditions characteristic of logistics divisions, warehouses, production or retail. The printer has a large number of functions and options which are inherent in models of the high level.
The device is equipped with the multilingual LCD display with illumination and can be configured so that information on a status of the printer and an expense of a ribbon and paper was available in any conditions, at any illumination.
Feature of the printer of Citizen of CL-E720 – existence of the mechanism of control and positioning of a ribbon of Active Ribbon Control & Positioning (ARCP) guaranteeing positive operating experience of the device as high quality of printing is reached at each run of the printer.
The print speed up to 8 inches per second (200 mm/sec.) at thermo is provided - and up to 6 inches per second (150 mm/sec.) at thermotransfer printing, permission of 203 dpi (8 points/mm).
The printer, according to developers, is very economic in terms of energy consumption. In a basic equipment the printer has LAN and USB interfaces. There are models with wireless connection. All models are delivered with the software of LinkServer, it allows remote control settings of the printer by means of the web browser.
