Kuznetskbusinessbank (InfoWatch EndPoint Security (EgoSecure))

January 19, 2015. The InfoWatch company announced completion of implementation^[1] of an end-to-end system of protection against information leaks of InfoWatch Traffic Monitor Standard and also the solution for control of InfoWatch EndPoint Security workstations in AB "Kuznetskbusinessbank" (Kemerovo region).

Tasks

Before Kuznetskbusinessbank there was a task of search of the system revealing and preventing chances of unauthorized use of confidential data. At the same time the implemented solutions had to provide compliance to legislative and regulatory arrangements.

Choosing a Solution

According to the results of market research and opportunities of different products in the field of confidential information protection the bank made the decision on complex product introduction of InfoWatch Traffic Monitor Standard and InfoWatch EndPoint Security. InfoWatch Traffic Monitor Standard analyzes information used in financial institutions, revealing illegitimate transfer out of limits of the organization or not authorized use of confidential data. Among product capabilities of InfoWatch EndPoint Security, first of all, control of use and differentiation of access rights of employees to external devices therefore the module InfoWatch EndPoint Security Access Control was purchased was required for bank.

A choice of each of solutions was made on the basis of the analysis of opportunities and cost of similar developments from different suppliers in the Russian market. Besides, on a withdrawal of bank, the flexibility of setup, the clear interface of both products became additional arguments for benefit of InfoWatch Traffic Monitor Standard and InfoWatch EndPoint Security.

"Beginning the project, we understood that not only correct setup and reliable work of the software, but also preparation of the regulating documents regulating new control procedures of information and use of software should become a result of implementation.
