Specialists of department of network integration of LANIT company booked audit of network infrastructure of three Russian banks: JSC Rossiyskiy Kredit Bank, JSC M Bank and JSC AMB Bank. The inspection purpose – to obtain the data necessary for further upgrade of network infrastructure.

During comprehensive examination the complete inventory of the existing IT infrastructure was carried out, the comprehensive analysis of network configurations is performed, detailed skeleton and functional diagrams of network are made. For a segment of external connections the quantity of external communication channels was in addition defined, to analyze the logical network of interaction between remote objects of corporate data networks and the routing protocols used at the same time.

Due to a large number of the most various hardware there was a need to automate collecting and the analysis of configuration files using scripts.

On the basis of data retrieveds experts of department of network integration made a detailed report about a current status of network infrastructure of banks and also the set of guidelines for further development of bank IT systems.
