Audit of network infrastructure in the Bank

Specialists of the network integration department of LANIT conducted an audit of the network infrastructure of three Russian banks: Bank Russian Credit OJSC, M Bank OJSC and AMB Bank OJSC. The purpose of the survey is to obtain the data necessary for further modernization of the network infrastructure.

During the comprehensive survey, a complete inventory of the existing IT infrastructure was carried out, a comprehensive analysis of network configurations was carried out, detailed structural and functional diagrams of the network were compiled. For the segment of external connections, the number of external communication channels was additionally determined, and the logic of interaction between remote objects of corporate data networks and the routing protocols used in this process was analyzed.

Due to the large number of the most diverse hardware, it became necessary to automate the collection and analysis of configuration files using scripts.

Based on the obtained data, experts from the network integration department compiled a detailed report on the current state of the banks' network infrastructure, as well as a list of recommendations for the further development of banking IT systems. Priorities were identified for the development of the internal and external segments of the network.
