January 22, 2015. In 2014 the Tekhnichesky baryer LLC company completed the project on creation of a system of IP video surveillance in the territory of the Belgorodsky tsement Ltd plant in the city of Belgorod.
The plant makes and delivers different types of cement of the European quality from the raw materials extracted in own pits. Products are used for a construction complex in regions of Russia.
The analog video surveillance system which is available at the plant did not meet the requirements of security service of the enterprise therefore the obsolete equipment was decided not only to replace, but also to install the equipment in the territories requiring special attention of a security service: in places of loading of finished goods and storage of material values, on the main drives and ways of traffic and freight trains.
Ensuring uninterrupted power in case of jumps of mains voltage or its unforeseen shutdown was the main requirement to a video surveillance system. And in view of the territory extent of the plant - a possibility of the equipment to transfer video flows to long distances without loss of quality. For implementation of these tasks the TFortis PSW-2G-UPS switches with the built-in uninterruptible power supply unit which allow to perform back supply of the switch and IP cameras were selected.
For observation of territories, adjacent to object of protection, on an object ten cameras RVi-IPC42DN and four TFortis PSW-2G-UPS switches were mounted.
"Not the last role in the choice of the concept of creation was played by simplicity of installation and utilization properties of the equipment. A choice was made for benefit of fiber optic communication lines. At selection of peripheral equipment the attention was drawn at once by the TFortis PSW-2G-UPS switches providing both image transfer on fiber optic communication lines and uninterrupted power of IP video cameras. And all this is combined with a possibility of installation of switches out of premises in the conditions of the increased humidity, high and low temperatures", - the engineer of Tekhnichesky Baryer LLC Maxim Nikitchenko told.
"From the beginning of operation of a system the customer highly appreciated, both quality of the received image, and reliability of all complex in general which is combined with flexibility of setup of parameters of display and operation algorithms of network video recorders", - Maxim Nikitchenko added.
Representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.
