PGNIU: Antistress software

Product
Developers: Perm State National Research University (PSNRU)
Date of the premiere of the system: 2015/01/22

Antistress software - development for control of a physical status of the person during the work with the computer.

The product is focused on use by children, first of all.

On January 23, 2015 the Perm State national Research University announced creation of an algorithm of the software of control of a physical status of the person during the work with the computer.

"Work with the computer renders a certain negative impact on physical and psychological state of the person. Therefore we develop the software giving the chance to parents to control time which is spent by their children in the course of the game", – Dmitry Zotin, the developer of an algorithm, the student of the Academic school of information technologies at PGNIU told.

The product will represent a hardware and software system in two versions: with bracelets and without them.

In the version without bracelet, after an hour of a game on the screen warning appears: "Duration of a session of an active game is exceeded", the screen changes a color gamma and brightness, and the program suggests to change a type of activity.

If the user does not follow advice of the computer is powered off. Operating time with the computer is set by adults.

Use of a special bracelet with the Bluetooth interface helps to control health of the person. By means of sensors the device reads out data on pulse and temperature of the person, they come then to the program.

Certain pages on the Internet or games can cause a stressful status in the person though he can not notice it. With respect thereto the frequency of its pulse increases. Using a bracelet the user will be able to control the psychological loading using the program, regulating or blocking what causes negative emotions. This development has higher accuracy as defines a physical and emotional status of the person from first minutes of a game.

In plans of developers or even "build in" creation of a superstructure over the operating system of the computer a chipset of the software motherboard.

"The software of this kind can be also used in the future and at offices to keep track of the state of health of workers. It is possible to carry out internal accounting of working time for the analysis of its qualitative component: what is the time the worker devotes to each type of activity", – Galina Pastukhova, the associate director on science of the Academic school of information technologies at PGNIU noted.

Creators of the project assume a product yield for broad use by the end of 2015.
