SAP implementation in generating "subsidiaries" of Gazprom: project Progress

Since 2011 in the generation companies of Gazprom integrated within Gazprom Energoholding development and deployment of a management information system of the enterprise is conducted (IUS P of group of companies, the project Impulse). This project is one of blocks of strategy of the informatization of Gazprom accepted in 2008.

IUS P of group of companies is created based on SAP ERP and the system of the analytical reporting on the basis of SAP BI. The SAP platform is defined in Gazprom as the basic solution for creation of target IT architecture which, according to the IT strategy of state corporation, assumes the maximum standardization of systems for the solution of standard tasks and standardization of the used software.

According to the messenger of the project Impulse, at the time of start it is one of the largest projects of implementation of SAP solutions in Russia and the largest in the power industry.

Functionality

Main objective of the project is increase in effective management of activity of the generation companies due to unification and automation of their main business processes, including – in branches. A system will allow to create a common information space of the enterprises thanks to what the data entered by one division will be available to other staff of the enterprise.

Implementation Progress

Project implementation began in 2011 with the Mosenergo enterprises and OGK-2 and also the head company of holding – Gazprom Energoholding LLC. For project management the uniform office of project management where specialists of the contractor entered (the general contractor –ANT-Inform) and the staff of the business structures covered by the project was created.

Also was the group on management of organizational changes and commands in the different functional directions including up to thirty specialists from the customer and the contractor are created. During the project serious methodological work was carried out and the standard metodiko-regulating documentation is developed.

Trial operation of IUS P of group of companies at these enterprises is conducted since March, 2013. By this moment on work with a system more than 4700 users from Mosenergo, OGK-2 and Gazprom Energoholding LLC were trained that made 92% of the planned number of employees. Since January, 2014 IUS P of group of companies was transferred to commercial operation.

As of the end of 2014 the works on creation of the IUS P template of group of companies for Mosenergo and OGK-2 in volume of the first stage are completed. It covered automation of such processes as accounting and tax accounting, management of finance, management accounting, budgeting, management of supply with material resources, the investment management, maintenance and repair of the equipment, management of marketing and sale, maintaining agreements.

In 2015 implementation of the IUS P template of group of companies in one company of Gazprom Energoholding - TGC-1 starts

For 2015 it is planned began replication of the IUS P template of group of companies at the TGC-1 enterprise. Follows from the project documentation that within it in TGC-1 should be automated accounting and tax accounting, management of finance, management accounting, budgeting, management of supply with material resources, the investment management, a maintenance and repair of the equipment, management of marketing and sale and maintaining agreements. Expansion of earlier created IUS P template of group of companies, according to features of processes of TGC-1 will be carried out for this purpose.

Follows from the project documentation of the TGC-1 published in January, 2015 that the maximum cost of works on it is estimated approximately at 584 million rubles. This project should complete creation of the first stage of a single management information system of the enterprise for the generation companies of Gazprom.
