Fitanny – service - a virtual fitting room for problem solving with mismatch of the size of footwear upon purchase via the Internet.
On January 27, 2015 it became known of preparation by the St. Petersburg State Polytechnical University - developer of service, the project of "a virtual fitting room" to start.
According to developers, the new service will become useful, for example, for physically disabled people who cannot independently do some shopping, or for the fellow citizens living in the province.
For use of a virtual fitting room it is necessary to photograph the foot and to upload the image to the site. The program will construct three-dimensional model on which it will "be tried on" made in advance computer 3D - footwear.

All fitting is conducted using mathematical algorithms, the result is displayed where not comfortable places are selected in red color, and the forecast of convenience of specific model as a percentage is issued.
As of January 27, 2015 the project in a stage of a prototype is implemented by means of a mini-grant of the Skolkovo Foundation received by the company in 2013.
Within the next grant agreement in 15 million rubles signed at the end of December of last year, the company should bring service to a test stage. According to project managers, the first works on integration with the websites of the Russian online stores are conducted, responses from potential customers for improvement of service gather. By 2016 the product should come to a stage of commercial start.
