Business process automation of PPF Life insurance based on Docsvision

The BTLab company implemented at the end of 2014 an implementation project of an electronic document management system and business process management of Docsvision in PPF Life insurance. The solution provided automation of the most relevant problems of document flow and office-work of the company. New level of efficiency and convenience of work will estimate more than 50 users from among the staff of the insurer.

PPF Life insurance since 2002 is an active participant, and at the moment — one of leaders of the Russian market of life insurance. The main activities of the company — the accumulative, pension and mixed life insurance, accidents insurance and diseases. Programs are implemented through own agency network, banks and also partners — the Russian companies.

In 2013 the company came to need of automation of a number of the business processes connected with approval of documents and control of their processing. Its flexibility, scalability and simplicity of completion under specific requirements of customer company became the main argument for benefit of the Docsvision platform for the solution of these and satellite tasks. The project was implemented by BTLab company which is perfectly proved partner of DocsVision and has more than ten years' experience of implementation of the electronic document management systems (EDMS).

The solution created based on Docsvision provided accomplishment of a number of the tasks set by PPF Life insurance at the current stage of the project. System implementation of electronic document management allowed to increase the processing speed of documents in the organization, having covered not only a circuit of contract activities, but also work with internal regulating documents and requests. Paper document flow managed to be reduced significantly, having increased convenience of search and access to documents at the expense of the organization of the uniform structured storage space. Means of the automated control of performing discipline helped to accelerate internal processes also.

It is possible to refer a number of the individual completions of the Docsvision system executed by BTLab company and directed to increase in convenience of work of users and system administrators to interesting features of the project. Among them — the application of templates of routes increasing convenience of approval of documents, automation of filling of fields in response to different events in a system and another.

Use of modern information technologies in the field of document flow will allow PPF to reach Life insurance the new level of business efficiency of the company.
