Develonica created the multifunction portal for IDGC of the Northwest

February 3, 2015. The Develonica company announces project completion on development of Internet representative office of IDGC of the Northwest.

Choosing a Solution

Prior to the beginning of the project of IDGC of the Northwest used several websites at once: main website of the company, seven Internet resources of each of branches and also several thematic web pages. All listed websites were implemented on different platforms and not integrated neither with a corporate information warehouse, nor with other business tools of the company. It seriously complicated work with public corporate content.

Based on the held tender the Develonica company became the IT partner of the project (enters into Softline Group). The technology basis of the project selected the Oracle WebCenter Sites platform - the high-level solution in terms of high-speed performance and scalability differing in simplicity of implementation, support and further development.

Project Progress

In a work progress several key business processes were optimized. In particular, thanks to functionality of the platform centralized operation by contents and user rights on all created Internet resources became possible. The intuitive interface of the visual editor of a system focused on normal users allows editors and administrators now it is easy to publish information of different type (the text, graphics, video). Information search mechanism configured by specialists Develonica on the websites allowed to simplify this process. The searcher indexes all content which is present at the basic and the distributed Internet resources, and the built-in technologies allow to perform a prediktion (autosubstitution) of content on the basis of the request made by earlier given user.

Result

According to the results of the project the customer received a reliable and scalable information system with the developed interactive services. The solution promotes increase in efficiency of interaction of users with Internet resources of the company and also to growth of a customer loyalty. The created resource allowed to integrate several websites of the geographically distributed company at the level of a management system and to make them more functional - both for clients, and for employees.

In addition, the implemented portal had to be integrated with the official site of state procurements. It would allow to reduce considerably costs for the publication of similar information.
