February 10, 2015. The Rostelecom company reported[1] about rendering services of digital telephone communication of JSC NBD-Bank. The operator provided to the client of 30 directory numbers.

The digital telephone communication organized by the Nizhny Novgorod branch of Rostelecom company by means of connection of a digital stream of E1/PRI has several advantages, providing high data transfer rate, stable communication quality, noise stability. The organization of SIP telephony (SIP, Session Initiat Protocol, – the protocol of connection setup) allows to cut down significantly expenses on long-distance and international negotiations and also to minimize costs for internal communication.

Within connection of service Rostelecom selected to bank multichannel virtual number which has function of readdressing of incoming calls as on normal numbers (city or mobile), and on numbers of office SIP-ATC that creates additional convenience to users. The simple and memorable phone number remains for the client in case of moving to other office.

Connection of digital telephony — a new stage of cooperation of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of Rostelecom and NBD-bank which began in 2013. Earlier the operator organized a virtual private network (VPN, Virtual Private Network) for eight divisions of bank across the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The information network provided by Rostelecom allows to provide the uniform quality standard of customer service of the company and also privacy and integrity of transmitted data.

"The service of stationary telephony does not lose relevance also today, and development of technologies and different services for communications allow to implement the opportunities unavailable 10 years ago. At the same time for the modern organization important that telephone communication which is one of the main tools for communication with clients was available, qualitative and inexpensive. Replacement of analog communication lines by a modern digital channel from Rostelecom became for us the suitable solution" — the director of the department of informatization of JSC NBD-Bank Dmitry Semekhin noted.
