Avago Syncro 9380-8e

Syncro 9380-8 are controller cards of DWH of high access.

On February 11, 2015 the Avago Technologies company announced emergence in the Syncro family of two DWH of the general access. The solutions Syncro use the interface of 12 Gbps of SAS and provide the doubled performance in comparison with the previous generation, at the same time they are backward-compatible from 6 Gbps of SAS.

The solution is focused on the enterprises of small and medium business, remote offices and DPC, creating functionality of the SAN systems, with the level of profitability and simplicity of management of DAS.

Avago Syncro are implemented in two configurations:

• Syncro 9380-8: as a part of set two Syncro controllers for a clustering of DWH of the general access installed in two server nodes and JBOD. This environment of storage of the corporate level allows Syncro controllers to estimate and monitor work of each other and to guarantee data availability a case of system failure on the server.

• Syncro 9361-8: The ready-made solution of a clustering cost-efficient in the conditions of DPC: several server nodes can be placed in a single compact platform. It allows OEM manufacturing and collectors of systems to propose to clients full-function solutions of Syncro and to provide high data availability due to use of only one device.
