NarvaLogistics works under control of Logistics Vision Suite

February 11, 2015. WMS Logistics Vision Suite is started^[1] in commercial operation at a warehouse of logistic operator Narvalogistics. The warehouse NarvaLogistics is divided into two parts, one of which is occupied by the customs direction, other part is intended for a retail warehouse. In customs warehouse pallet storage of goods on racks is organized, in a retail warehouse the goods are stored in individual packaging (piece or a box) on shelf racks. As a system for process management of a warehouse the solution Logistics Vision Suite on 15 jobs implemented on the platform Narvalogistics by specialists of ant Technologies company is selected.

Tuning a system is performed according to specifics of work of NarvaLogistics. Processes of acceptance, placement, reservation, selection, packaging, shipment and additional processes are automated. So, as setup of additional processes the search algorithm incomplete a pallet for the purpose of their filling was developed for customs warehouse that allows to eliminate a warehouse fragmentirovannost. For the retail direction levels of maintenance of a stock by each article were configured. A system manages distribution of goods in a warehouse on zones of floor, rack, boxed, close-meshed storage, process of accounting of rules of merge, compatibility of loads, arrangements is configured according to classification of ABC and XYZ, storage areas, planning of loads in orders according to necessary rules and strategy, and also zones of selection of goods in the order of an optimal route of its bypass are optimized. Account of goods is kept in different coal mines FIFO, LIFO, FEFO, LEFO, lot-based accounting, accounting of serial numbers, etc.

In the course of setup of the Logistics Vision Suite system and to deployment of the software product in the warehouse Narvalogistics the personnel of the customer were trained to work and administration of the implemented solution Logistics Vision Suite. The warehouse of Narvalogistics company within several months works under control of WMS Logistics Vision Suite. The customer is satisfied with accurate functioning of a system. The initial problem of implementation of the WMS solution on planning and coordination of processes of a warehouse is solved. The customer is positive for a possibility of control and management of activity of workers with the minimum costs.
