February 3, 2015. The company Eaton provided[1] uninterrupted power supply of server premises and jobs in office center of bank Uralsib in Moscow. For this object were selected static Series 9355 Eaton UPS and 9390.

Reliability, compact overall dimensions, low heat release and high efficiency became the main criteria when choosing SIBP Eaton. The ISO-Energo company which is engaged in project implementation of the systems of the guaranteed uninterrupted power acted as integrator of the solution. The company provided delivery, installation and a commissioning of the Eaton UPS.

Before start a system passed a full stroke of checks on an equivalent of loadings, cycles of a charge and discharge of accumulators. In total in office center of Uralsib bank six SIBP Eaton and a battery cabinet were set. Eaton UPSes allowed to organize a reliable and continuous electric power supply system of office center. According to the results of the project on an object the reliable communication system and a local computer network were created. Small dimensions of the UPS allowed to install the equipment of the maximum power in the available space. At the expense of the high efficiency and small heat release of uninterruptible power supply units of Eaton the cost of the cooling system managed to be reduced by 20%.

Eaton 9355 UPSes differ in compact design, and existence of internal batteries, the built-in static and service bypass allows to save a valuable space of server rooms and DPC. The technology of a three-stage charge Advanced Battery Management (ABM) manages process of recharge of batteries and considerably prolongs the term of their service. The unique Hot Sync technology for reservation and increase in power ensures parallel operation of the UPS and excludes the probability of formation of a uniform point of failure. The efficiency high value and density of power considerably reduce the total ownership cost of the UPS due to cost reduction on its transportation and installation.

Eaton 9390 UPSes are designed on transformless technology using double conversion of voltage output. The efficiency of this UPS type reaches 94%, and reliability of the equipment allows to protect loading with the broadest range of power lines. 9390 low KNI, high input PF> 0.99 and existence of smooth start of the rectifier is with an obvious advantage of Eaton. Thanks to it all UPSes of series 9390 are perfectly compatible to diesel generators and do not create network noises.
