DIT of the Novosibirsk region announced completion of construction of network of digital television broadcasting in the region

On February 16, 2015 DIT of the Novosibirsk region announced completion of construction of network of the digital radio TV. With the contractor in the project company RTRS "Siberian RTs" worked.

Project Progress

Within implementation of the federal target program "Development of TV and Radio Broadcasting in the Russian Federation for 2009 - 2015." in the territory of the Novosibirsk region by branch RTRS "Siberian RTs" constructs 59 objects of communication: 28 – based on the existing objects of RTRS and 31 new antenna and mast constructions.

Project Results

Anatoly Dyubanov, the Head of Department of informatization and development of telecommunication technologies of the region, reported: "The scope of residents of the Novosibirsk region digital TV and radio broadcasting makes 97%. In December, 2014 the branch Russian television and the RTRS "Siberian RTs" broadcasting network executed all actions for input of network of digital broadcasting. On all objects test broadcasting is performed. In a transmitter's range of digital on-air TV broadcasting there is a majority of localities of area, and it is about 2.5 million people".

As of February 16, 2015 in the territory of the area based on infrastructure of the first multiplex construction of the state network of digital land on-air TV and radio broadcasting of the second multiplex (RTRS-2) is conducted.

"At the moment the second multiplex is available only to residents of Novosibirsk, in 2015 completion of construction of 12 more objects of transmit-receive is planned, by 2018 it is going to complete input of the second multiplex, – Alexander Ottsetsky, the director of the branch of Federal State Unitary Enterprise RTRS "Siberian regional center" noted. - Important feature of project implementation is use of the equipment made by the Novosibirsk company "Triada-TV"".

In 2013 in the Novosibirsk region based on the center of satellite communication "Azimouth-N" the central station of a transport network of VSAT of a monitoring system and network management of digital on-air TV and radio broadcasting of RTRS ZSSS "Express Central Committee" representing a reliable modern supervisory control system and data collection is constructed. The station exercises continuous control of parameters of the equipment on objects of TSETV RTRS from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka, quickly notifying on faults and managing reservation.
