Kyivstar completed the project of creation of information system protection

On February 24, 2015 the De Novo company announced project completion on ensuring business continuity and resistance of information systems to emergency situations for Kyivstar company.

Project Tasks

Kyivstar aims to prevent any threats interfering high-quality service of subscribers. Recently in Ukraine there was relevant a threat of failures which reason - illegal actions of the armed groups.

The main tasks of the project, according to statements of partners, became need of reliability augmentation of IT according to corporate requirements to business continuity and increases in efficiency of recovery of work of information systems at emergence of non-staff situations.

The partner in the project is selected from the first half of 2014 as a result of the competition held among potential integrators. De Novo offered the most complete and advantageous terms on implementation of tasks in the project.

Project Progress

For standardization of approaches on ensuring continuity of work of IT applications, the De Novo command constructed model of threats, estimated the related risks and extent of their influence on key business processes of the operator, developed the target architecture of IT infrastructure capable to effectively resist to the identified risks.

After that developed scenarios of maintenance of information systems in emergency situations and also created the program of projects of transformation of IT infrastructure to a target status.

Project Results

Implementing solutions and the regulations developed within the project will allow to support Kyivstar the necessary level of stability of IT components not only for existing, but also for future information systems.
