The Federal Customs Service selected Avanpost PKI

In February, 2015 the Avanpost, the Russian developer of the systems of identification and access control to information resources of the enterprise (IDM), announced that FCS of Russia (Federal Customs Service) selected the Russian solution Avanpost PKI as an accounting system, management and audit of means of authentication and storage of key information (tokens). All staff of FCS using tokens – about 50 thousand will be connected to this system human.

Earlier FCS of Russia used the system of import production for management of the identification information and electronic keys in the IC. Transition to completely Russian solution of the Avanpost company gives to the customer ampler opportunities on application of different types of key carriers as Avanpost PKI supports all tokens and smart cards presented at the Russian market. Besides, further FCS of Russia will be able to expand a new public key infrastructure with functions of single authentication (SSO) and identification and access control to information resources of the enterprise (IDM).

Under the terms of auction documentation, a new system should provide centralized operation with lifecycle of personal means of identification and authentication (key carriers) in number of not less than 50,000 pieces. Also it should support accomplishment of all standard transactions with electronic keys: registration and accounting of tokens in the single database; creation and storage of the uniform directory of electronic keys; binding of the last to accounts of users; management of lifecycle of electronic keys and drawing up reports on their use; generation of key pairs and release of certificates of users at a stage of purpose of electronic keys to users. One more requirement – functioning of the solution in domain structure of a uniform directory service of Uniform automated information system of customs authorities and also compatibility with the equipment, smart cards of E-Token and JaCarta (the certified key JaCarta PKI/BIO carriers with support of biometric authentication).
