La Gran Guia S.A selected TrueConf for the organization of a video conferencing between offices from Chile

La Gran Guia S.A company. – the owner of the business reference book of the enterprises in Chile, the member of the group of El Mercurio companies – implemented TrueConf Server for increase in efficiency of communications between the staff of branches of the company in six cities of the country.

La Gran Guia S.A. possesses 2 business portals of Chile: network of the amarillas.com portals with one million unique visitors a month and the mercantil.com portal which integrates more than 100,000 companies and works at the Spanish, English and Portuguese languages.

La Gran Guia S.A. – the geographically distributed company forced to consider geographical features of Chile and its big extent from the North on the South. Video conference allowed to solve a coordination problem of work of personnel and also to increase efficiency of communications between branches and company management, to provide the high involvement of participants of meetings and visual contact during the meetings.

La Gran Guia S.A. has a closed corporate network with Internet connection at a speed of 20 Mbps through the central office in Santiago therefore the company needed the VIDEOCONFERENCING system capable to work in LAN network.

Within the license TrueConf Server are available to La Gran Guia S.A.: all types of group video conferences in permission up to 4K (UltraHD) for the Windows, Linux, OS X, Android and IOS operating systems; a web video conferencing on the basis of the WebRTC-client; instruments of joint work (demonstration of the presentations and remote desktop, file transfer, electronic board), planning of video conferences; work in the corporate (closed) network without connection to the Internet; integration with LDAP and H.323/SIP the equipment.
