Transaero Airline (Amadeus EMD)

The Transaero airline of the first among the Russian carriers started functionality of EMD for a design of additional charges via the Amadeus system.

Electronic Miscellaneous Document (EMD) is the new industry standard which allows agents to process electronic documents and to accept payment for sale of the different services accompanying an aviatravel. Amadeus became the first of the global distributive systems who received certification of IATA for the complete solution for the new EMD standard.
