RBC Group implemented QlikView in City Apple

April 24, 2015. The consulting company RBC Group announced project completion of system implementation of the business analysis (BI) of QlikView Business Discovery in City Apple company (Almaty). The implementation project lasted 2 months, the accounting system of 1C the Enterprise became data source for the analytical application.

As initiators of implementation of a BI system in the company company executives acted. Consultants of RBC Group company, with participation and approval of specialists of the customer, completed all phases of the project: from development of technical specifications before start of a system in operation. Within the project the analytical application was developed: "The analysis of sales" and also, installation of a system and training of specialists of the customer is executed. The implemented project gave the chance to specialists and to company management to carry out the comprehensive analysis of the sales.

Project Progress

Within the project the following functionality was implemented:

• Control panel of the head which allows to assess the current situation on sales, to estimate income level, a trend of accomplishment of the sales plan, a deviation from the plan, the forecast of accomplishment of the plan in different cuts;
• The expanded analysis of sales and profitability in different cuts (clients, managers, goods, groups of goods, etc.) using different methods of information representation, such, as: pivot tables of indicators, bubble charts of profitability, share charts, etc.;
• Data view about sales on clients on cards of GoogleMaps;
• The plan / faktny the analysis in different cuts, with determination of trends and forecasts of accomplishment of plans; Analysis of customer orders;
• ABC-XYZ analysis;
• Functionality of any comparison in any analytical cuts presented in the application;
• The modeling (based on trends of sales) indicators of sales and a margin depending on the change in price of sale, cost value and quantity;
• The designer of any reports from a set of the cuts and indicators presented in the application; The Analysis of sales by documents.

Result

The flexible analytical reporting with the most relevant business data, fine visualization and improbable data processing rate became result of implementation of QlikView.

Development Plans

In the nearest future the City Apple company plans development of the solution in itself in the company and continuation of cooperation with RBC Group company. Company executives showed interest in further development of the QlikView BI system in such areas as: finance, stocks and logistics, personnel management.
