Hitron Systems of the NDT-8224R ENTRY IP video camera

In a line of the IP equipment of Hitron Systems company there were in February, 2015 NDT-8224R IP video cameras which enter into family of the budget products ENTRY and are intended for the round-the-clock video filming with permission of Full HD and the speed of 30 fps. Each dome IP video camera of a series has the built-in IK-searchlight with video surveillance zone illumination to 25 m, a varifocal lens, uses the CMOS sensor of the brand of Sony, supports 3-stream broadcast of video, a system of noise reduction and compensation of flares. Moreover, this dome model can receive a power supply on PoE technology, record video on the memory card, is supplied with an input and output of alarm and is completed with free 64-channel software for NC Titanium video surveillance.

1-, 2-or 3-stream broadcast of the image from the IP video camera is possible with the permission to Full HD (1920х1080 px.) and frame rate up to 30 fps when using formats of compression of M-JPEG and/or H.264. For improvement of image quality in different conditions of illumination on an object, the dome IP video camera is supplied a number of digital technologies among which there is compensation of a background flare and noise reduction of 2DNR. Along with video transmission through IP network, the dome IP video camera provides a local video which can be activated on an alarm or be performed constantly, on the built-in SDHC format memory card. It should be noted that NDT-8224R can work with memory cards with a capacity up to 32 GB.

The functionality of the video camera provides informative video filming in the day/night modes including in complete darkness, using an infra-red searchlight which consists of 30 IK-LEDs creating a uniform luminous flux with illumination range to 25 meters. Thanks to a searchlight, the dome IP video camera will be effective in night-time not only in premises with a traditional design, but also on Open space objects. In new dome models the varifocal lens (F1.2, ARD DC Iris) which focal distance varies in the range from 3.5 to 16 mm, and viewing angles — from 85 ° to 26 ° is applied to flexible configuration of the sector of video control, respectively, and also function of digital scaling of "areas of interest" (ROI) is implemented.

Using NDT-8224R video cameras, it is possible to create small video surveillance systems by the principle of plug & play where as cores NVR-video recorders are used. So, for example, for the organization of the 8-channel video system it is possible to purchase the HNR-8413 video recorder with the corresponding number of channels. Before work the dome IP video camera is connected to a power supply which can serve a source of 12 V a post. current or the PoE-switch, and after connection establishment with corporate NVR, it is automatically configured. To simplify and reduce the price of process of installation of dome model it is better to use power supply option on the equipment cable (PoE technology).

Operation of the new video camera is possible also as a part of large multibrand IP video surveillance systems as it meets specifications of ONVIF and is compatible to different software products. At the same time for video surveillance system management in which also the dome NDT-8224R IP video camera is involved it is possible to use the corporate software of NC-Titanium having several advantages. It is software it is provided free of charge, has the client-server architecture, supports up to 64 recording channels on one server, interactive graphic plans, control of PTZ video cameras, etc. If it is required to organize a system with an unlimited number of dome/box-cameras and servers, then it is possible to use paid Titanium Plus software.

The built-in 16-zonal detector of the movement of the video camera allows to register activities in a frame at the same time in 8 zones, for each of which the sensitivity can be set. At the same time sending notifications on approach of a disturbing event can be performed on e-mail and the FTP server. To have an idea of a situation on an object before receipt of an alarm, the dome IP video camera allows to write the pretrevozhny personnel on the local memory card (at most 10 sec.) or on the FTP server (up to 30 sec.). At the same time, through the menu of dome model it is possible to appoint 8 zones which will be closed from viewing by the operator, and activities in them, respectively, will not initiate a disturbing signal.
