Proteas: DPI Platform

DPI Platform is a hardware and software system, represents the system of the deep analysis of traffic and is held for use on networks of providers of service of the mobile or fixed broadband access.

The PROTEUS DPI system solves problems:

• the analysis of traffic in network of the operator on belonging to a certain protocol and/or service
• accounting of traffic with a binding to protocols and services
• traffic management for optimal use of network resources
• providing additional services (VAS)
• access restriction to resources according to the register of Roskomnadzor and also providing service Net Internet

The product allows to apply a maintenance policy to each subscriber separately, on the basis of a tariff plan to which the subscriber is connected. Use of priorities at the level of subscribers of network allows to provide to subscribers of exclusive tariff plans services with the stated service quality even in rush hours or in places of big accumulation of people (for example, at a concert or at stadium during the football match). In the conditions of high loading of network flows with higher priority receive the bandwidth, necessary for normal functioning of service, while low-priority flows compulsorily slow down.

Proteus DPI supports application of a maintenance policy and tariffing for each type of traffic separately, depending on date and time of day, depending on the volume of the services consumed by the subscriber for a certain interval depending on location of the subscriber, etc.
