The Megacom operator completed implementation of service of filtering of Internet contents

On March 3, 2015 the STC of Proteas and Entensys announced project completion on start of service of content filtering on the DPI Platform platform for the Kyrgyz telecom operator of MegaCom^[1].

Project Tasks

In 2014 the operator set at himself on network the Proteus-DPI platform, and in January, 2015 expanded its functionality with implementation of technology of filtering from Entensys company.

Project Progress

"By 2015 in the list of projects of STC of Proteas there were already several installations of the platform-DPI on networks of operators of mobile and fixed connection. Implementation of technology of filtering from the Entensys company founded on the product UserGate Web Filter became a new stage of development of our DPI platform and excellent experience of joint work with the Russian colleagues. The operation algorithm of a new system is that software of Entensys defines category of the required website, for example, sport, entertainments, etc., and our DPI platform on the basis of his answer applies this or that policy", - Yury Senchenko, the head "Broadband Systems" of STC of Proteas told.

Project Results

"Start of the first joint project with STC of Proteas is an important step in development of our company, - Dmitry Kurashev, the director of the company of Entensys noted. – We already started many projects in networks of telecom operators, including large, but this project is the first when we integrate our solution with the DPI system".

The operator received the powerful tool of the analysis of Internet resources in the order, implemented a unique opportunity of personalisation of requests of the subscribers, raised the security level of net surfers and also provided accomplishment of different regulatory requirements.
