APC Back-UPS BX is a line of uninterruptible power supply units from Schneider Electric company.

On November 26, 2020 the Schneider Electric company provided updating of a line of the APC Back-UPS UPS of the BX series. Devices are the economic solution for protection of power supply for the house and home office. Thanks to the broad range of capacities in combination with characteristics of the high level, possibility of these UPSes became even wider: they provide high quality protection of power supply for the most different devices – from a smart column to surveillance cameras and the equipment for a geyming.
Devices of the updated line of the UPS have a number of features:

On November 26, 2015 the Schneider Electric company announced the beginning of retail sales of uninterruptible power supply units of APC Back-UPS BX650LI, BX650LI-GR, BX800LI and BX1100LI.
Uninterruptible power supply units of Back-UPS BX650LI, BX650LI-GR, BX800LI and BX1100LI are created on linearly - interactive technology, as well as the previous models in a line. Power output of devices is 325 W / 650 BA, 415 W / 800 BA and 550 W / 1100 BA, respectively. The BX650LI and BX800LI models are equipped by four, and BX1100LI — six IEC sockets for connection of a computer hardware.
The BX650LI-GR model is equipped with two euro sockets and intended for protection of electronic devices of the house and at office. For ensuring control over a status of the UPS LED indication and sound signaling is provided.

Back-UPS BX700UI, BX950UI and BX1400UI UPSes are released
On March 4, 2015 the Schneider Electric company announced receipt in sale linearly - interactive uninterruptible power supply units of Back-UPS BX700UI, BX950UI and BX1400UI.
They will replace the laid-off Back-UPS BX650CI, BX800CI and BX1100CI models.

Devices of the updated line of the BX Back-UPS UPS are equipped with computer sockets and the built-in power conditioners. These UPSes have the increased resistance to interruptions of power supply and differ from predecessors in existence of USB port for contact with the computer.
Back-UPS BX700UI, BX950UI and BX1400UI are created on linearly - interactive technology and generate voltage of 230 V. All sources have low threshold values of transition to an operation mode from the battery, are capable to maintain long decrease in input mains voltage without switching to back supply from the rechargeable battery. Total power of new models is 700 BA/390 W, 950 BA/480 W and 1400 BA/700 W.
UPSes are capable to stabilize automatically tension in the range of 140-300 V (BX700UI) and 150-280 V (BX950UI and BX1400UI) to safe level that allows electronics connected to them to work in a constant duty at the lowered and increased tension in the household power supply network. Existence of the RJ-11 connector gives the chance of protection of the equipment connected to a telephone network, for example, of the telephone set, the fax or the DSL modem. Control over a status of the UPS is provided with sound notifications and LED indication.

On July 23, 2014 the Schneider Electric company announced release of new budget uninterruptible power supply unit of ARS Back-UPS BX500CI.
Actually, replacement of model from the BR500CI-RS series is made.
APC Back-UPS BX500CI is equipped with three computer sockets capable to provide a power supply to 300 W (500 BA) of loading. The device allows to support operation of the computer equipment in the range of input voltages from 160 to 280B and also has the system of clearing of splashes in energy up to 273 Joules. The UPS is expected ensuring protection of power supply of one workplace.
The resource of the APC Back-UPS BX500CI accumulator will allow to support continuous operation of the equipment with a power of 100 W for 10-15 minutes at blackout of power supply.

APC Back-UPS 650 is equipped with function of automatic stability control of tension (AVR) which in case of need gives power supply network tension in range of 140 — 300 V to the level, safe for electronics, and allows it to work unlimited time both at lowered, and at the increased tension. Power of Back-UPS UPS 650 is enough for functioning of an electronic equipment with a total power consumption up to 390 W.
APC Back-UPS 650 has 3 output euro sockets (Schuko) with battery support. It allows to protect from jumps and differences of tension in power supply networks not only the personal computer and the peripheral equipment, but also home electronics, for example, the LCD TV and the audio system. In case of shutdown of network of power supply of the UPS it is capable to support operation of devices with a power of 300 W (77% loading) in a standalone mode within 3.5 minutes.
Besides, the uninterruptible power supply unit of BX650CI-RS is equipped with the connector for protection against voltage surges of the equipment connected to a telephone network, for example, of the modem. For ensuring control over an UPS status the sense light and sound signaling is provided in Back-UPS 650.
Back-UPS UPS 650 has information port for connection to the computer. The user can load in addition from the website www.apc.com the APC PowerChute Personal Edition program which allows to monitor key parameters of operation of the UPS and also to calculate the battery life of attached devices proceeding from battery power level. In case of long blackout of APC PowerChute automatically starts the procedure of preserving of data and shutdown of the PC.
