FCS will pay 177 million rubles for technical support of software of Oracle

At the end of March, 2015 the Federal Customs Service (FCS) summed up ^[1] the results of the tender for rendering services in standard and expanded technical support of software products of Oracle. The maximum price of the contract was more than 178 million rubles.

Applications of RDTECH and New Service Technologies companies were submitted for tender. By the winner it was announced RDTECH, having reduced by 1% to 176.998 million rubles the starting price of the contract.

Let's remind that according to documentation, the winner of an auktsin will have to give support of FCS at the federal level, at the level of customs authorities of department and also customs and customs posts.

Among products of Oracle which are used in FCS – DBMS Oracle Database and application servers Application Server, Internet Application Server WebLogic Suite, software for monitoring and diagnostics of Diagnostics Management Pack.

In 2012-2014 FCS paid more than 400 million rubles for licenses and support of software of Oracle

Standard support which FCS within the agreement wanted to receive includes consultations in the normal mode and in case of failures and emergency situations, service in providing new versions of software of Oracle and packets of corrections, in opening and maintenance of service requests in technical service Oracle on behalf of FCS, etc.

Expanded support includes rendering services in audit of the Oracle DBMS configuration, development of recommendations about change of the hardware-software platform for the purpose of increase in efficiency of functioning of the applied systems, transfer of Oracle databases on a new hardware platform without change of the version of the database and OS and some other services.

According to Contour-Focus base, the previous large purchase connected with Oracle, FCS carried out in May, 2010. Then department acquired rights to use of software for ensuring functioning of software products of Oracle, service in its commissioning and complex technical support. The amount of this contract was 332 million rubles. Earlier, in 2012, FCS also purchased services in technical support of software of Oracle, having paid on them about 82 million rubles.
