Smartec ST-EL250MLD electrical lock

In a line of the equipment Smartec for control and management systems for access for spring of 2015 there was a laid on electrical lock of ST-EL250MLD which has special dual construction from specularly symmetric parts and is intended for installation on swing doors. The new electromagnetic lock is expected deduction of each door shutter at efforts to it up to 250 kg and provides the notification about attempt of cracking through relay exits. Besides, the separate Hall sensor which traces a current status of the electromagnetic device is built in both parts of ST-EL250MLD, and bichromatic indicators located outside of the body allow to define visually the door is open or closed.

Construction of ST-EL250MLD consists of two identical parts, allowing to use one lock for restriction of pass through swing doors at offices, supermarkets and other objects with normal requirements for security. At the expense of the powerful electromagnets attracting to themselves metal plates, this electromagnetic lock holds shutters in the closed status at efforts to 250 kg to everyone. At emergency power off the electromagnetic ST-EL250MLD model will unblock doors therefore for its installation in the most responsible points of pass it is recommended to buy in addition uninterruptible power supply unit.

Permanent monitoring of operability of both parts of the ST-EL250MLD lock is provided by two independent Hall sensors which perform measurement of the pressing force between an electromagnet and a metal plate and timely fix shutdown of power supply and/or deliberate "extraction" of an anchor of the lock at unauthorized penetration into the protected premises. Moreover, each Hall sensor has a relay exit through which the door electromagnetic lock activates a signaling system at detection of a disturbing situation. As the used Hall sensors are hidden in the body of electromagnetic construction, their provision cannot be defined visually.

An optional set of different adapters does the new lock universal in installation and allows to set it on different types of doors. For example, if ST-EL250MLD is mounted on the door opening inside, then it is necessary to use the special L-shaped ST-BR250L adapter, and to the door opening outside — the adapter of the ST-BR250Z Z-type. When using the U-shaped ST-BR250U adapter the electromagnetic lock can be put on a door with glass cloths from 8 to 15 mm thick. It is important to note that the electromagnetic device can be established not only from the inside of the protected premises, but also from outside that will not affect the pass point security level.

Control of operation of the new lock can independently be exercised using such tools as the controller reader and the button of a request for an exit, or within the system of access restriction via the ACS controller. It is important to note that the electromagnetic lock provides a possibility of an unblocking of shutters of a door separately for what each its part needs to be connected to the separate relay output of the controller. The guaranteed closing of a door cloth and correct operation of the electromagnetic locking device will provide retrofitting of a door with the closer which can be picked up among the wide range of devices of the Smartec brand.
