Glavmosstroy (1C: Consolidation)

The Rice company executed an implementation project of a system of the centralized normative reference information (CNRI) in JSC Data-processing Centre Mosstroy on the 1C: Consolidation 8 platform.

As a result of implementation a new system on management of the normative reference information from a uniform point was created. Now all data of TsNSI from "1C: Consolidation 8" come to the corresponding reference books of the accounting systems at once. A system allowed to automate work on TsNSI of 24 accounting bases of Glavmosstroy holding and also to reduce quantity of errors when conducting accounting and tax accounting on all enterprises of a construction division.

Problems of implementation

Because of absence at the enterprise of the centralized control system of the normative reference information there were difficulties by preparation of the management consolidated statements. All users worked with the same reference books. However because of different names of the same objects data exchange between information bases was strongly complicated. It affected inconsistency of actions between groups of the company that led to certain difficulties of a reporting preparation and also time and finance costs on the scale of all holding. These problems led company management to the solution to create a system which would allow to communicate and consolidate quickly normative data in Glavmosstroy holding.

The project started in July, 2013. During the project it was necessary to solve the following problems:

• formalization of rules and standards of formation of reference books;
• possibility of centralized operation and control by all normative handbook data;
• process optimization and reduction of time of a reporting preparation;
• creation of uniform analytics for the analysis and comparison of all groups of companies;
• creation of the most acceptable strategy of work with customers.

Results

The project came to the end in November, 2013. As a result of five-months work a new system on management of the normative reference information from a uniform point was created. Now editing the existing records of the reference book or input of new record happens in one system which is the reference data warehouse.

Now requests for creation new or editing the existing reference book elements from initiators arrive to the operator of a system. Requests are developed using software of the MS Excel and contain the programmed checks of correctness of values of details. The new or changed elements of reference books come to accounting bases only. Agreements of partners come only to accounting base of that organization with which this agreement is signed.
