Rostelecom created telecommunication infrastructure for retail chain stores the Metropolis

March 12, 2015. The Rostelecom company announced creation of telecommunication infrastructure for retail chain stores Metropolis.

For connection of the enterprise to a data network in Kurgan the whole complex of works is executed: installation and construction works are carried out, according to requirements of the customer and underground cable infrastructure in which fiber lines of communication with a total length more than 15 km are placed is organized. More than one hundred units of the modern equipment are set, 55 VPN channels are switched on by capacity of 2 Mbps which integrate fifty territorially remote objects of Metropolis in the Kurgan region in a common information space with the central point in Kurgan.

The created VPN network allows to exchange quickly data, to work with business applications, to conduct electronic document management, to have access to internal databases, to use a video conferencing. The single virtual network has high degree of protection against unauthorized access and guarantees reliability of data transmission of the customer.
