Baikal Electronics implements IC computer-aided design facilities

On March 16, 2015 it became known of the beginning of cooperation between Baikal Electronics company and Synopsys company.

Project Results

Under the terms of the agreement Baikal Electronics got access to a broad spectrum of solutions of Synopsys: to the platform of development Galaxy, graphic tools of architectural design Platform Architect with technology of multinuclear optimization of design of architecture and the analysis, to the Design Compiler tools for design of GSI and SoC, to the solution IC Compiler for design of topology, means of physical verification of IC Validator, blocks of intellectual property Synopsys DesignWare IP.

Cooperation with Synopsys will help with equipment of developments of Baikal Electronics modern USB interfaces, PCI Express, SATA and Ethernet. Tools will help technical department of the company to project and verify more effectively developments, to bring them to a production stage quicker.
