The Russia's first pilotless monorail will be started on a domestic management system

Customers: Morton Group

Moscow; Construction and industry of construction materials

Project date: 2015/03

In 2017-2018 in Moscow area it is going to unroll experimental section of the Russia's first system of monorail transport like the German H-Bahn which will be able to be controlled automatic system and to transport passengers without participation of the driver. In the project the automatic management system will be used by transport of domestic development Daniil Volkov, the research associate of "The innovative company of MMC" - the head contractor on its development told TAdviser.

Construction Moreton Group which creates in Moscow area the elevated monorail transport system Arrow acts as the initiator of the project. The first stage of this system should be stretched from the Ilyinskoye-Usovo platform to the Krasnogorskaya station. On one of its segments it is also going to test monorail structure UAV.

The developed automatic management system includes a supervisory control system the movement, a management system for the rolling stock and the management system for floor infrastructure providing the minimum interval of the movement 1 minute. As envisioned by developers, the system of monorail transport based on automatic management system will be able to transport up to 6 thousand people per hour.

So the monorail system of computer-controlled transport in Germany looks

The total amount of financing of the project is 410 million rubles of which 266 million rubles the subsidy of the Ministry of Education and Science and 144 million rubles – financing "makes NTS "Arrow" which is included into Moreton Group.

By request Moreton several organizations work on creation of automatic management system: in addition to "The innovative company of MMC"the Russian Railway and project company "Foratek AT" attracted as collaborators treat like those MIPT,NIIAS.

Daniil Volkov told TAdviser that NIIAS, for example, is responsible for development of a dispatching management system for the system of transport, and Foratek of AT – on for a part of the system connected with land infrastructure and security.

He also added what similar management systems for transport in the world exists not much and besides, they are expected work in absolutely others, than in Moscow, conditions, with considerably smaller passenger traffic. Therefore own development is necessary.

The project is calculated for a period of up to 2016 inclusive. In 2015 it is going to complete development and creation of the computing modeling stand and special test stands for carrying out researches, developments and tests of an automatic control system and its elements in vitro. In 2016 - to conduct researches and semi-natural modeling of automatic management system of the pilot transport system in vitro and also its optimization.

After these works are completed, is going to develop preliminary technical proposals for design of automatic management system of the pilot transport system.

Daniil Volkov notes that by the time of implementation of the pilot using automatic management system it is also necessary to resolve the normative and legislative issues connected with the developed monorail transport. So, on the existing standards, it is necessary to have the driver in the rolling stock now. At emergence of difficulties in this question it is possible to implement, for example, at first structure with the driver who for management needs to press only one button, he assumes.
