Ganz ZS1-4DS video coder

Product
Developers: Ganz
Date of the premiere of the system: March, 2015
Technology: Video surveillance systems

The 4-channel GANZ ZS1-4DS video coder of production CBC Group performs digitization and compression of video signals from analog cameras in the H.264/M-JPEG formats and their transfer on network. ZS1-4DS can work not only with motionless, but also with PTZ cameras of a large number of producers, creates the image with the permission to Full D1 at 25 fps and supports function of deinterlacing for elimination of effect of "comb". It should be noted that this video coder is supplied with the slot for the microSD-memory card, 4 audio inputs and the 1st exit, the post works from a source of 12 V. current, meets specifications of ONVIF and allows to use optional video analytical packets.

Support of a large number of protocols of telemetry, such as American Dynamics, Bosch, Panasonic, Pelco-D/P, Convex, Samsung, etc., allows ZS1-4DS to integrate analog PTZ cameras of different producers into IP video surveillance systems. At the same time management rotary, an inclination and a zoom of rotary cameras it is possible to perform via the video coder using the control panel, the joystick, the keyboard or other external device. Besides, for video transmission on network and viewing/record on the remote PC the video coder is equipped with RJ-45 interface, for an output of images to the monitor — an end-to-end video output, and for a local video — the slot for microSD of the memory card with a capacity up to 64 GB.

ZS1-4DS allows to set the packets of video analytics of GXi providing different intellectual functions. With their help the video coder can control the direction of the movement of objects and intersection of virtual borders by them, to fix emergence/disappearance of objects and attempt of damage of cameras and also performs collecting of statistics. At the same time the video coder is supplied with the 8-zonal detector of the movement with the configured sensitivity and filtering of objects by the size, allows to connect up to 4 external security sensors and minimizes the number of false operations of the detector and sensors.

Provides numerous settings of the image GANZ ZS1-4DS on the all 4th channels. The new video coder converts analog video signals from cameras using the digital M-JPEG and/or H.264 formats with the permission from Full D1 to QCIF at the frame rate of 25 fps and also allows to set 1-or 2nd streaming mode of broadcast of video per network from each camera. At the same time, this video coder performs additional video signal processing for image enhancement. In particular, based on its processor function of deinterlacing which eliminates "comb" on the image from cameras with interlaced scan is implemented.

GANZ ZS1-4DS has the small aluminum outline package with sizes of 244х137х38 mm and weighs 920 gr., and for convenience of connection all its main interfaces are output to the back panel. Power supply on the video coder is performed via the adapter of 12 V of a direct current included in the package, and the power of consumption of the device does not exceed 8.8 W. Besides, thanks to availability of 4 entrance audiointerfaces, the video coder allows to accept from the cameras connected to it not only video, but also a sound which it squeezes in G.711 format.

Remote access to video and the ZS1-4DS settings is possible from any network PC via the standard web browser or using specialized software. For example, the video coder can work under control of software of SmartStation which is the professional software product and allows to create the centralized video systems of different scale, to configure IP devices in network, to change parameters of watching "live"/archive video, etc. At the same time, the new GANZ video coder can easily be integrated also into another by software (Milestone, ITV, ISS, DSSL) and to work fully as a part of multibrand video systems, thanks to its ONVIF compatibility.
