The Ryady optoclub implemented the solution based on SAP of Pilot

March 19, 2015. The Pilot group reported^[1] about^[2] for trade based on SAP for the Russian Ryady Optoclub network.

Goals and Objectives

With its help it is going to provide efficiency of key business processes already at a stage of entry into the market. It is planned that the first shopping complex will appear this year in St. Petersburg. In three years, from 2015 to 2017, it is going to open 21 optoclubs in St. Petersburg and Moscow.

Necessary condition of the choice of an information system the customer called successful experience of its operation in the trading companies, and the main requirement to the contractor — competence and profound knowledge of the industry of trade. Taking into account dynamics of development of new network of optoclubs the solution should be implemented in the shortest possible time.

Choosing a Solution

On a response of the customer, the choice was caused by reputation of the contractor, project and industry expertize in automation of retail and distribution, and the efficiency of the solution is confirmed with operating experience a number of the trading companies. Pilot for Retail & Wholesale Distribution represents the full-function ERP system developed by specialists of department of SAP of Pilot company based on the SAP solution Business All-in-One.

"To enter the market and further dynamically to develop, the efficiency of business processes of the company is necessary. And here not to do without modern information system. Therefore the Ryady optoclub is going to implement the solution based on SAP, capable to competently build key management processes: from assortment planning to financial statements" — told in Pilot company.

"The solution is supposed to be transferred to the customer in 4 months after agreement signature. These are quite short terms for the project of such scale, testimonial of universality and development of our solution. The first results of implementation can be estimated in 2015" — Andrey Barinov, the head of the SAP direction of Pilot Group specified.
