Work on the Adaptation of the Standard Solution

For adaptation of the standard solution examination of sections of accounting of intraeconomic activity and features of financial planning in the organization of the customer was conducted. On its basis the list of completions of the standard solution implemented further within the project is defined.

Except the specified standard functions following features were in addition adapted: a) accounting according to Provision of the Bank of Russia of July 16, 2012 No. 385-P "About rules of accounting in the credit institutions located in the territory of the Russian Federation". b) integration of the implemented solution with the following banking information systems:

  • CORE BANKING SYSTEM OF CFT;
  • IC "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8".

c) Financial planning of expenses on intraeconomic activity of bank. This functionality was implemented about use of the module of IT Capital Consulting company which is built in the standard solution created specially under business processes of the customer.

Maintenance:

  • Consultation on methodical questions of work with the program of 1C is performed
  • Consultation on technical issues of work with software products of 1C is performed

Description

Development and improvement of internal business processes of JSC St. Petersburg Bank required implementation of the modern automation system of accounting of intraeconomic activity and effective financial planning of expenses.

The main selection terms of an automated system was the following: a) Existence of a significant amount of already implemented functionality in a standard configuration. b) Existence of a significant amount of successful implementations in a corporate segment. d) A possibility of the fast personnel recruitment having necessary experience with the software product. e) Existence of effective is information - technology maintenance from vendor.

Being guided by the main criteria, JSC St. Petersburg Bank carried out market research and stopped the choice on the software product "1C:Enterprise 8. Management of manufacturing enterprise".

The contractor of the project on system implementation of process automation of intraeconomic accounting and financial planning based on the selected product selected IT Capital Consulting company.

During this project it was executed:

  • inspection of activity of JSC St. Petersburg Bank regarding conducting intraeconomic accounting and features of financial planning;
  • formalization of requirements to adaptation of the standard solution;
  • adaptation of the standard solution;
  • start of the adapted solution in commercial operation.

So far the project of creation and implementation of an information system of process automation of intraeconomic accounting and financial planning is successfully complete.

Using the implemented software product the following sections and business - processes of Bank are automated: a) Accounting of the capital investments, fixed assets and intangible assets, non-current assets; b) Accounting of inventory items; c) Accounting of income and deferred expenses; d) Accounting of agreements and settlement with partners; e) Accounting of settlings with advance holders; e) Accounting of the VAT; g) Maintaining and approval of requirements of payment; h) Control and analysis of the amounts of requirements of payment for limits of estimates; i) Design of printed forms of documents and preparation of all reporting necessary for Bank.

After project completion maintenance and development of a system was required. The main objective which costs - development and adaptation of a system under quickly changing conditions, including - accounting of updating of the legislation of the Central Bank.

The Following Tasks Were Performed:

  • Consultations on the choice of the software and options of its maintenance
  • Sale of the selected software products
  • Delivery of software products in office of the customer
  • Collecting and requirement analysis of the customer to an automated system
  • Planning of stages of works, drawing up job schedule
  • Methodical ensuring specific features of accounting and management in the automation system (the requirement to adaptation)
  • Creation of interfaces and sets of user rights
  • Technical implementation of specific features of accounting and management in the automation system (adaptation)
  • Integration with other systems based on 1C: Enterprise
  • Integration into third-party automation systems
  • Initial settings of standard/industry solution (program) to start accounting
  • Input of opening balances / the help when entering opening balances
  • Data transfer from the previous automation systems
  • Individual training at office of the customer
  • Obucheniyev to group at office of the customer

Project Results

On April 17, 2015 it became known of end of the first stage of optimization of planning and cost control in Bank "St. Petersburg"[1].

Since April 1, 2014 a system is transferred to the maintenance mode with participation of the contractor of the project.

By March, 2015 according to the priorities approved with the customer, IT Capital in addition executed:

  • critical completions according to changes of the legislation;
  • block of additional analytical reports;
  • additional functions of integration with the automated banking system for ensuring end-to-end processes;
  • flexible functionality of planning and operational financial cost control of bank within the approved estimates.

Pavel Filimonenok, the vice chairman of the board of St. Petersburg bank noted: "The project team achieved the purposes which were set by the management of bank at each stage of the project. It allowed bank to reduce significantly costs for intraeconomic accounting and also to optimize costs for support and development of the implemented software product. In addition to it during 2014 those functions of an information system which allow our bank to support and guarantee compliance of accounting of intraeconomic activity of bank to the legislation are developed and configured and also to implement planning processes and cost control according to constantly increasing requirements to these processes. We are going to continue cooperation with IT Capital in 2015".
