JSC DNPP actively is engaged in production of civil products and consumer goods, supplying the equipment for railway cars, devices for agriculture, medical equipment.

History

  • Date of birth of Dolgoprudny Research Production Enterprise it is considered to be on May 5, 1932. This day by order No. 73 of the chief of plant on design, production and operation of airships – the Dirizhablestroy plant was put into operation of the operating objects. It was connected with accomplishment by May 1st of a task of the Government of the USSR about delivery of the first three airships.
  • The decision on the organization of Dirizhablestroy plant was made by the chief of VO GVF of the USSR of 12/7/1931 (order No. 462). Construction of plant and airships was made at the same time, as allowed to perform a government task in the shortest possible time. The Dirizhablestroy plant was the first and only project and production structure which was engaged in this subject.
  • Till 1938 9 airships of different loading capacity were made and tested. The equipment of the first passenger-and-freight route Moscow-Sverdlovsk was planned. However rapid and successful development of aircraft in a root changed the attitude to airship building. In 1936 the Dirizhablestroy plant will be transformed by the resolution of service station of 8/16/36 and the order NKTP No. 287 of 8/21/36 to plant No. 207 and Fedorova - the I-207 fighter, and then pilot airplanes of Borovikov is transferred to aviation management for production of the pilot airplane of construction of Borovikov. The last airship was released in 1937.
  • According to the order NKAP No. 304 of 9/11/39 plant 207 starts the production the near SU-2 bomber. It was the first successful construction of the outstanding Chief designer Sukhy. SU-2 was taken advantage by the Air Force of the country and was involved in military operations in 1941-1942. Then it was replaced on fronts of war by the Pe-2 and Tu-2 bombers.
  • In October, 1941 in connection with approach of the front to direct approaches of Moscow plant 207 was relocated with all equipment and a backlog of airplanes to the city Molotov (Perm), and on the remained industrial platform repair shops for recovery of front fighters and attack planes were organized (LAGT-1, La-5, MiG-3, YAK-3, YAK-9, Il-2 and others).
  • Gradual recovery of production capacities allowed to execute in 1943 the order of the people's commissar of aircraft industry on release of the first pilot airplanes with ZhRD Chief designer Kostikov. But the airplane was not put in serial production, and the release for the front of the night near YAK-6 bomber and the Po-2 airplane whom until the end of war 1364 pieces were produced was charged to plant No. 207 to which there was assigned number 464 by then.
  • After the end of war the above-named airplanes were succeeded by pilot and production airplanes of the Chief designer Yakovlev for the national economy: YAK-10, YAK-12, YAK-16, heavy-load YAK-14 glider, fighters YAK-15UT, YAK-15U.
  • In pursuance of the Resolution of the Central Committee of the CPSU and CM of the USSR the plant mastered and organized release of airplanes of An-2M for needs of agriculture of the country. In total from 1964 for 1968 640 airplanes which were exported in a row the countries, in particular to Cuba (180 pieces) were made.
  • In 1991 the plant received the new name – the Dolgoprudny Research Production Enterprise (DRPE).
