Rostelecom rendered communication services to the Samara state medical university

March 26, 2015. The Rostelecom company reported^[1] about providing the high-speed Internet to the Samara state medical university.

Rostelecom organized high-speed Internet access on communication fiber lines for the Samara state medical university (SAMGMU). The virtual private network (VPN) integrated information resources of SAMGMU in uniform virtual space and provided high-speed data exchange between territorially remote local networks of eight body of a higher educational institution located in Railway and Leninsk the districts of Samara.

The created infrastructure will allow SAMGMU to use in the activity internal corporate communication, a video conferencing for the organization of meetings, data transmission with the high level of data protection. Students, in turn, had an additional opportunity of remote access to funds of libraries and educational bases of the leading educational institutions of the country.
