Pony Express implemented the system of umbrella monitoring of IT infrastructure

On March 30, 2015 it became known of end of the project by Tibbo Systems company on system implementation of umbrella monitoring of IT infrastructure for Pony Express.

Project Tasks

The Pony Express company looked for the solution for condition monitoring and performance more than 70 primary servers on the Windows platform and FreeBSD executing a role of VPN, mail servers, databases, networks, DNS and proxy servers. Besides, control of crucial corporate applications and productivities of databases was required. Among priority tasks: condition monitoring and productivities of network equipment, including traffic observation and an exit of indicators for extreme values. It was represented to the customer extremely important to visualize structure of network traffic - the applications and services using the majority of network resources.

Service point of Pony Express, 2014

For project implementation IT management of Pony Express selected the product AggreGate Network Manager.

Network Manager controls key performance indicators of servers, central switches and routers Hewlett Packard, 3Com and Cisco Systems. Application monitoring is executed for Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010. One of project objectives - application of standard profiles for monitoring more than ten databases Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2008, including configured in the mode of the failover cluster used by a large number of corporate applications. The structure of network traffic easily is detected by data collection by means of the NetFlow v9 protocol and is visualized with the help Network Manager.

Project Results

Use of AggreGate Network Manager helped to integrate monitoring of all IT infrastructure of the company with one place, to reveal existence of inefficiently used resources, to react to potentially dangerous incidents before their approach, preventing idle times of services and minimizing the number of requests from the staff of the company.
