Servionika transferred to PPF Life insurance to Microsoft Lync Server 2013

April 01, 2015. The Servionica company announced transfer of PPF Life insurance on Microsoft Lync Server 2013.

The cooperation of Servionica (I-Teco Group) and PPF Strakhovaniye zhizni company begun with two large implementations in 2014 successfully continued in 2015 within the project on migration of infrastructure of the joint corporate communications with Microsoft Lync Server 2010 on Microsoft Lync Server 2013.

Thanks to Microsoft Lync Server 2010 integration of the opening regional Life insurance agencies PPF into workflows of the company was considerably accelerated, the single system of support of corporate communications is created, cooperation of the agencies with the central office of the company and among themselves is established. Besides, use of a single communication framework allowed the company to refuse completely third-party services for the organization of a videokonferensvyaza, considerably having reduced their use for holding webinars.

Planned migration on Microsoft Lync Server 2013 is connected with a new range of the opportunities implemented in a system: advanced functionality of support of corporate communications (including - video calls using mobile clients), purpose of meetings through the online scheduler, a possibility of web access, participation of external subscribers, the organization of chat rooms. It became much simpler to users to be connected to conferences via the Internet browser at what need of loading of additional software was eliminated. The plug-in of Lync Web App simplifies connection to video and audio conferences – it is available directly from the browser, without loading of additional software.

All works on design and migration took 2 weeks and were carried out by Servionica without stopping of the main business processes of the customer. The new solution will allow to optimize interaction of the regional agencies and the central office, to reduce costs for business trips and the organization of meetings, to accelerate information exchange due to increase in learning efficiency, adaptation and team work of employees. The current system configuration will allow to carry out in the future integration of Microsoft Lync Server into Skype, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.
