On March 31, 2015 the Vision Solutions company announced a release of the new version of the solution Double-Take for AIX 5.0.
Major version of the updated solution expands possibilities of all product line of Double-Take for AIX, including the solutions Double-Take Availability, Double-Take RecoverNow and Double-Take Move Vision Solutions[1].
The new version helps to control and manage all products using the Vision Solutions Portal portal — the interface on the basis of the browser for the products Double-Take for AIX and MIMIX.
The graphic working panel of the solution will allow to execute the transactions connected with monitoring, automatic recovery and abnormal switching of a system. Besides, users will be able to seize enhanced capabilities of a clustering, access to which is provided from one simple user interface. Now and to users with limited knowledge of AIX data recovery or abnormal switching in case of failure of the server or a web resource is available.
By means of integration of all series of the products Double-Take for AIX into the interface of the Vision Solutions Portal portal of the company users of the IBM Power Systems servers with AIX, will receive:
