Borlas Assembly Scheduler (BAS)

Borlas Assembly Scheduler is the software solution of planning of assembly processes of difficult technical products.

The system designation - formation of the optimal diagram of assembly transactions taking into account availability of production capacities, labor and material resources, technological limits and other factors. The most perspective industries for application of BAS:

• aircraft industry,
• rocket production,
• shipbuilding,
• engine building
• other industries of difficult mechanical engineering.

In a basis of Borlas Assembly Scheduler (BAS) technologies and instruments of optimization planning IBM iLog are put. The solution is applicable for all types of assembly processes (mobile, stationary, combined), considers interrelations both between assembly passports, and between transactions in the passport, and can be used both for planning of final assembly of products, and for planning of assembly of large nodes and units.

For April 2, 2015 the solution provides implementation of basic functions:

• integration with IT systems for loading of technology data and information on material availability, component parts, personnel, the equipment, the special equipment;

• calculation of the optimal diagram of transactions of assembly taking into account the set restrictions;

• visualization of results of calculation in screen forms, reports and on the chart Ganta, the analysis of results on KPI;

• modeling of situations "that-if" with change of initial data and recalculation of plans;

• formations in BAS of primary documents (a planned daily task, the write-off order for a complete set).

Feature of the product BAS - a possibility of planning taking into account specifics of assembly processes:

• interrelations between transactions,
• side-by-side execution of transactions,
• applications of alternative options of assembly sequence.

Development helps to maintain quality due to appointment to transactions only of specialists of required qualification, and, at the same time, to optimize costs due to minimization of use of working high discharges on low-skilled transactions. BAS provides to heads information on deviations from the assembly schedule, both by specific transactions, and on a product in general, with recommendations about elimination of deviations.
