Brocade ICX 7250 is a series of gigabit switches of the 2 and 3 level with support of stacking and high density of Uplink-ports. These switches are focused on the access level in corporate networks of the enterprises.
On April 7, 2015 the Brocade company provided switches for the campus local computer networks (LCN).
The Brocade ICX 7250 switch has with a most high density of ports of 10 Gigabit Ethernet in the class and provides effective transfer of large volumes of traffic (video and others). Stekiruyemy switch of corporate the class Brocade ICX 7250 helps the companies to scale network infrastructure in process of growth of requirements to capacity.
Main Characteristics

Line of the Brocade ICX 7250, 2015 switches
The Brocade ICX 7250 switch has twice the bigger density of ports in comparison with similar devices — up to 576 Gigabit Ethernet ports in a stack with centralized operation.
- By means of centralized operation within the solution Switch Port Extender significant decrease in operating costs is provided.
- The OpenFlow 1.3 protocol is supported in the Brocade ICX switches as a part of the mixed and distributed stacks that provides high flexibility at deployment of the program configured network between rooms of switching.
- The family of the Brocade ICX switches is certified for work with SDN- the controller Brocade Vyatta (on the OpenDaylight platform) and will support other controllers on this platform.
