"Vertical" implemented a complex of the solutions CPM+ECM based on the Prestima and Directum systems

April 13, 2015. In Sevastopol started^[1] the implementation project of a complex of the solutions CPM+ECM based on the Prestima and Directum systems^[2]. "The Developmentsky company 'Vertikal'" automates management accounting that will allow to optimize budget, financial and contractual processes of the company.

Choosing a Solution

Until recently all financial management accounting of the company was kept in the tables MS Excel that complicated data of information in a whole and took away from employees a lot of time because of need of transfer of a large number of the same data in different files. The problem of work with contractual documents was particularly acute. The lack of a specialized system did not allow to keep operational accounting and to control accomplishment of obligations and payment under agreements. Due to business development and a current economic environment this approach ceased to meet the requirements of the organization. The management made the decision to automate internal business processes.

During market research of information systems specialists of the company stopped the choice on a complex of the solutions CPM+ECM based on the Prestima and Directum systems.

Project Progress

After more detailed studying of a system the company management made the decision to purchase the modules "Management of Finance", "Budgeting" and "Agreement settlements" and also a basic solution package of Directum. Thus, automation will cover the following business processes: formation of budgets; plan-fact analysis of execution of budgets; operational planning of cash flow; contract management; reporting on budgeting, management of finance and agreements; records management; management of meetings.

The company stopped on implementation by own forces, is going to automate about 30 jobs. As a result business process optimization and structuring data for decision making on budgets, finance and agreements is expected.

Vitaly Lutsenko, the IT specialist of Vertikal company, notes: "Existence of function of approval of agreements and also special tools for planning and systematization of financial results of activity of the company was the compulsory provision for us when choosing business solution. Therefore Prestima is an optimal variant. The functionality of a system allows to configure it under specifics of our business. And the linking of Prestima and Directum gives the chance to automate practically all business processes and to create flexible IT infrastructure for further development".
