"The beta the Post" transferred corporate IT infrastructure to a cloud

On April 17, 2015 it became known of signing by the companies Cloud4Y and Beta Post agreements, within which successive carry of IT infrastructure of the client in, "cloud"^[1] will be organized^[1].

Project Tasks

The solution provides virtual resources on the platform of the equipment and software of the corporate level:

• blade servers of IBM, NEC,
• DWH of Netapp,
• VMware platforms.

The main reason of transition to cloud infrastructure - need of reduction of investment costs (purchase of own servers, the software, licenses itd.) for benefit of operating expenses.

The client should pay services in the settlement scheme in process of resource consumption (pay as you go) with monthly payment for lease of software of Microsoft, 1C, VMware.

Project Progress

Analyzing a field of activity of the company, approach to work, managers of the contractor revealed the needs for mobile access (from any point of the country) for employees "Beta-Post" services 1C, corporate mail, security of communication channels.

Transition from the corporate server to cloud infrastructure of Cloud4Y is tested and carried out to non-working days. According to partners in the project, couriers and clients of the customer did not feel any inconveniences.
